Me. Lida Sara Nouraie received her bachelor degree in law and a certificate in social and labour law from UQAM. She works exclusively in the field of criminal and penal law and has gained important experience before all courts, including seven appearances before the Supreme Court of Canada. She has also been deeply involved in mega-trials and homicide files. Me. Nouraie has received recognition on multiple occasions from the Criminal Defence Lawyers Associations, the Young Bar Association of Montreal, L’Expert and the Young chamber of commerce. In addition, she is the president of Innocence Project Quebec. She is also responsible for the legal services for the Elizabeth Fry society, where she has done more than 1000 interventions to inform women of the rights in prison and their civil rights in general.
