Dr. Kamal Salmasi received his M.A in Management from Tehran U. and Ph.D in mining, economics, and management from McGill U. He has worked in the Area Coordinator for Management, International Business and Entrepreneurship programs at the School of Continuing Studies of McGill U. He has nearly 20 years of business experience, and more than 18 years of experience teaching and researching in management and mining. He has served as the CEO of a cement company, the Vice President of a mineral export company, and the chairman of a management consulting firm. He was also an advisor to Iran’s Ministry of Industries and Mines and contributed in drafting the country’s new mining code and foreign investment law.
