Dr. Vahid Partovi Nia received his B.Sc in Statistics and M.Sc in Mathematical Statistics from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and Ph.D. in Statistics from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He also has 2 years of post-doctorate experience in McGill U. and Stanford U., jointly funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. He is currently working as Researcher in Canada Research Excellence Chair in Data Science for Real-time Decision Making associated to École Polytechnique de Montréal. He has published over 20 scientific papers in well-known journals in the field of data science.
