I would like to thank our valuable panelists and energetics participants as well as our professional staff for the success of the Third Symposium of Iranian Professionals in Québec (SIPQ) that took place on September 9th, 2018 at Concordia University Montreal, Quebec.
We believe that the symposium reached its goal which was to bring together bright minds to give talks that are idea-focused and on a wide range of subjects. With several experts on site, we were able to foster learning, inspiration and wonder as well as provoke conversations that matter. As such, we successfully established a vibrant and supportive Iranian professional community.
In the third year of SIPQ, we had more than 50 talks and 70 panelists providing round tables. With the help of around 70 SIPQ staff members, we greeted over 1000 participants this year. We also enjoyed a speech from a distinguished guest speaker, Hon. Marc Garneau, the first Canadian astronaut and Canada’s minister of transport.
This year, we were proud to initiate our YOUTH DEVELOPMENT program, providing crucial information to the second-generation Iranian-Canadians to find their path in life and career.
In order to make improvements to the following symposium, we kindly ask all the participants for feedback and recommendations in order to improve the next one.
