در این قسمت از مجموعهی مستند Montreal Persian Voices، گفتوگویی مفصل و عمیق با آقای شهرام یزدانپناه انجام دادهایم؛ روزنامهنگار، فعال رسانهای، و بنیانگذار مداد مدیا، رسانهای که طی سالها به یکی از صداهای مستقل، پیگیر و اثرگذار جامعه فارسیزبان مونترال تبدیل شده است.
این گفتوگو، نه فقط روایت شکلگیری یک رسانه، بلکه بازتاب مسیر فکری، تجربهی زیسته، دغدغههای اجتماعی و نگاه انتقادی فردی است که رسانه را نه ابزار، بلکه مسئولیت میداند.
از ایران تا مهاجرت؛ شکلگیری نگاه رسانهای

خلأ رسانهای در جامعه ایرانی مونترال
یکی از محورهای اصلی گفتوگو، اشارهی مکرر به نبود رسانهای منسجم، مستقل و پاسخگو در جامعه ایرانیان مونترال در سالهای گذشته است.
یزدانپناه توضیح میدهد که هرچند کانالها و صفحات متعددی وجود داشت، اما اغلب:
- مقطعی بودند
- وابسته به افراد یا جریانها
- فاقد خط تحریریه روشن
«جامعهای که رسانهی مسئول نداشته باشد، صدایش یا شنیده نمیشود یا تحریف میشود.»
همین خلأ، نقطهی آغاز ایدهی مداد بود.
تولد مداد؛ رسانهای با حداقل امکانات و حداکثر تعهد
مداد مدیا در شرایطی شکل گرفت که نه سرمایهی قابل توجهی در کار بود و نه حمایت نهادی. آنچه وجود داشت، انگیزه، پیگیری و باور به ضرورت رسانه مستقل بود.
یزدانپناه در ویدیو با صراحت از سختیهای آغاز کار میگوید:
- فشار مالی
- فرسودگی کاری
- تردید نسبت به ادامه مسیر
اما در کنار آن، از لحظههایی میگوید که بازخورد مخاطب، پیامها و اعتماد تدریجی جامعه، مداد را سرپا نگه داشت.
مداد و خط قرمزها؛ استقلال بهعنوان اصل بنیادین

به گفتهی یزدانپناه، مداد نه تریبون شخصی است و نه ابزار تسویهحساب؛ بلکه رسانهای است با اصول مشخص:

یزدانپناه بر این باور است که رسانه، فقط گزارشگر امروز نیست؛ بلکه سازندهی حافظهی فرداست.
رسانه، مسئولیت و آینده
در بخش پایانی گفتوگو، نگاه او به آیندهی رسانه در جامعه مهاجر مطرح میشود.
او بر لزوم:

- حمایت از رسانههای مستقل
