The Persian community in Montreal is a vibrant and dynamic part of the city’s cultural mosaic. With a history rooted in resilience, creativity, and innovation, Persian Montrealers have enriched the city through their contributions in arts, business, academia, and community life.

Our upcoming documentary profile seeks to capture this journey by highlighting the stories of remarkable individuals whose lives embody the spirit of Nowruz—renewal, growth, and unity. Structured into three categories, the project will shine a light on the past, present, and future of our community:

• Pioneers
  The first generation who laid the foundation of the Persian presence in Montreal. Through hard work and perseverance, they built institutions, preserved cultural traditions, and paved the way for future generations.
• Influentials
  Leaders, visionaries, and professionals whose voices and actions continue to shape the community. From cultural organizers to entrepreneurs and academics, these individuals inspire through their achievements and dedication.
• Rising Stars
  The younger generation whose talents and ambitions are carrying the community into the future. Artists, innovators, and changemakers who embody both Persian heritage and Montreal’s multicultural spirit.

Through biographies, successes, and personal stories, this documentary will not only celebrate individual accomplishments but also illustrate the collective strength and unity of the Persian community in Montreal.
